Bringing Worship Back to the Heart of Home

A gentle, family-centered approach to worship that helps you grow confident in music, grounded in Scripture, and connected to God — together.

Worship is so much more than what we play on an instrument or sing with our voices. It is the quiet fabric of everyday life.

In Matthew 22, Jesus reminds us that the greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind. Worship, then, is not confined to a stage or a service — it is lived out through the ordinary moments of our days.

Changing a diaper.
Folding another load of laundry.
Preparing a simple meal.

These, too, are acts of worship when offered with love.

A stage, an instrument, or even a worship service is not inherently worship.
The heart we bring is.

And from a heart of worship, sometimes we overflow — through song, rhythm, and music — as a natural expression of love for God.

The Heart Behind Sparrow Worship

Sparrow Worship was created to gently invite women and children into worship through biblical encouragement, mentorship, and unhurried rhythms.

This is not about performance.
It is about formation.

It is about learning to love God in the everyday — and allowing that love to overflow into song when the heart is ready.

My Story

As a young mom, I understood how valuable musical training can be for a child’s brain and heart. With seven years of piano lessons behind me, I tried to pass along what I knew to my children.

Formal music lessons were often out of reach for our family, but something unexpected happened instead.

As we sang together and explored simple chords, we grew in our understanding of authentic worship. Learning to play using basic chord structures opened a door — not just to music, but to joyful, confident worship in our home.

Through this simple approach, I learned to play piano fluently using chords, lead my children in worship, and eventually serve in our church worship ministry. Teaching my children these same skills allowed them to play confidently and express worship independently — both at home and in the church.

That experience shaped my heart deeply.

What Is Sparrow Worship?

Sparrow Worship is not a high-pressure or high-skill piano program.

It is a gentle invitation to learn:

  • basic chords

  • foundational piano skills

  • simple rhythms that support worship

With these tools, families can cultivate worship in their homes and, if desired, grow toward serving in church worship settings.

Sparrow Worship works beautifully as:

  • a starting point for beginners

  • a supplement to formal lessons

  • a foundation before pursuing private instruction later

If your family is able to pursue in-person, one-on-one lessons, I always encourage that. Sparrow Worship is meant to support — not replace — those opportunities.

Membership Details

Sparrow Worship is offered as a video-based membership.

  • One membership covers everyone living in one household

  • Each family member may learn at their own pace and level

  • Grown children living independently will need their own membership

  • Memberships may be canceled anytime before renewal

You are free to start and stop as needed — no pressure, no rush.

A Gentle Invitation

Whether you are:

Sparrow Worship offers simple tools to make worship feel natural, doable, and deeply meaningful.

This is a place to learn slowly, worship freely, and grow together — through music, Scripture, and hearts turned toward God.
